Indian of Year 2008
Hi all, let's vote and nominate the Indian of the year 2008. Who do you think should be the Indian of the year 2008.
1) Abhinav Bindra - The lone sportsperson from India to have won a Gold medal in Olympics ever.
2) Vishwanathan Anand - The Indian Grandmaster of Chess and winner of World Chess Championship 2008.
3) Capt. M S Dhoni - Representing New India, clinching the CB series,Idea Cup India-SriLanka ODI Series, Ind- Eng Test & ODI series.
4) Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan - Major Sandeep led from the front in the Mumbai terror attack, and in a bid to save his buddy, went down fighting like a braveheart.
5) Hemant Karkare - The chief of Mumbai ATS, solved the blasts case in Thane, investigating malegaon blasts - was killed in action by mumbai terrorists.
6) A R Rahman - Starting the year by giving hits like "Jaane tu, "Jodha Akbar","Yuvraaj","Ghajini" to being nominated for "Slumdog Millionaire".
7) Aravind Adiga - The debut novelist & winner of the Booker Prize award, author of "The White Tiger" - the second youngest winner of Booker Prize award in its history.
